The historic building boasts uniquely designed rooms that provide a genuine sense of charm. Our deluxe room featured a spacious layout alongside a large bathroom.
The elevator malfunctioned throughout our stay, necessitating several trips up and down stairs. Noise from street activity, including truck deliveries and loud church bells, disrupted our sleep. Additionally, the shower sink emitted a foul odor, impacting our comfort.

Had a great stay! The central location made exploring the town super easy, and the breakfast had a nice variety. Staff helped set up a cot for our baby, which was a lifesaver! Just wish the bed had been a bit firmer for better sleep.

Great location right in the heart of Alkmaar. Convenient access to local markets and restaurants made exploring easy. The room was spacious and clean with a cozy atmosphere. I particularly enjoyed the ample space for my belongings and the fresh linens provided. However, the elevator was out of order during my stay, which made carrying luggage up and down a hassle. Breakfast had a nice variety, but on one morning, many items ran out before I could grab them. I think more planning could help ensure a better experience during busy times.

The furnishings were quite dated and could use a refresh to enhance comfort.

The room was well-maintained and offered a lovely ambiance, although the street noise from nearby bars was quite disruptive, especially at night. Staff were consistently friendly and accommodating, directing us to a nearby bike parking facility when their own was full. Breakfast featured an excellent selection of tasty dishes, but it would have been nice to have more options available without running out, especially during busy hours.
